Dunno how long, maybe 2 hours so far? 1 layer, PTSai

All finished!

Wow this was challenging. The time ranged about 3 hours, with a 6 color palette, 1 layer, and only using the Water tool on PTSai. I used a recent reference picture I had previously taken of myself (Which is in the WIP post). 

I really enjoy doing self portraits, not because I’m vain (Which I admit to within reason, everyone is), but because I get to compare how I’ve drawn myself over the years and get to see how I’ve changed and grew in both appearance and skill. It’s really a cool experience :)

So I got my haircut a while ago.

And I spent all day getting makeup tips off of youtube

(and by god its so much better in real life)

And I know I shouldn’t just post pictures of myself on my art blog after a hiatus.

More relaxing stuff before exam weekend :)

This was really fun, thanks to Ryan Woodward’s amazing work for the inspiration to try out some animation.

I actually had like fourty more slides, but hated the full animation. I’ll post it after though :)

So since I can never make up my mind I had to make 3 versions of this…excluding the animation I did that photoshop lovingly didn’t save. :x On the OTHER HAND however, this is my OC Vivian in a strangely tranquil setting.

Two more days of school. I can do this.

Another WIP of the barn owl girl I started last night, this time I only worked on her a bit today (most of the progress from the last post was done before bed hehe)

The finished (watermarked) commission for Calibz on gaiaonline! I like the way this turned out, and this experimental style is really fun to do. Its pretty easy too, just sketch, line, base color, overlay, and add a texture :3
